Modern world necessitates education to have a new content. With this aim in view Integrated educational programme (IEP) was developed on the basis of the best international and national experience. One of the aims of our center is to develop primary educational textbooks meeting all the teachers and learners’ needs according to the Integrated Educational Programme
It is impossible to overestimate the importance of primary education quality. This stage develops main primary skills to be developed and consolidated afterwards. Our center develops educational textbooks for primary school in strategic partnership with Cambridge University Press, one of the best and well-known publishers in UK in the field of developing and editing textbooks. Project team includes international author and editor trainers, authors, editors, interpreters, methodologists, composers, poets, illustrators and designers. Workshops for authors and editors where they are taught the best strategies for developing and editing educational textbooks are held on regular basis within the framework of the project. CUP trainers share their experience and qualitative approaches for writing active learning activities, developing creativity, logic thinking, skills of searching and analyzing information etc. One of the main aims of new educational textbooks is to develop learners' skills of independent life-long learning. Primary educational textbooks development project completion is planned for middle 2015.
Secondary school is an important milestone in the development of learners' vision and priorities management. It is crucial for the educational textbooks to be not only a textbook but a guide which will enable learners both to acquire knowledge and to develop their own skills of creating projects, presenting scientifice works, searching, analyzing and using infomation efficiently etc. Within the framework of this project our centre cooperates with Institute of Education, University of London which is one of the educational institutions leading in the fileds of teacher training, research of teaching theory, practice and techniques as well as development of educational standards and programmes. The project completions is planned for 2016.
Language competence is power! Power of communication, power of understanding, power vital for futher human development. Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and Educational Resources Centre like no other understand the importance of developing innovative language policy of high quality based on the national and international experience. In strategic partnership with Cambridge University Press (CUP), one of the best and world-known UK publishers dealing with language competence problems and its developement, ERC develops textbooks in Kazakh language as native language and second language, Russian language as native language and second language, and English language. NIS trilingual policy shall serve the basis for the project language policy.

Practicing teachers with rich teaching experience participate in the educational textbooks development project as authors. Part of the author team are developers of Integrated Educational Programme. All authors are taught the strategies for developing educational textbooks by international trainers in accordance with the best international standards. They also visit additional courses and trainings in different countries (Singapore, Finland etc.)
Practicing subject teachers and philologists play the role of editors of educational textbooks. In order to provide high-quality development editing all editors visit training workshops where they are introduced to the best international experience of development editing depending on the age group, textbooks peculiarities (introduction of cross-curricular links, and trilingual policy etc.). Editors also receive remote support from international experts.
A significant role in projects involving international educational institutions is played by translators providing translation support within the project. Their particular responsibilities include interpretation during workshops, translation of quality assessment, feedback etc. Translators also translate all the educational textbooks for international reviews. Translators regularly participate in professional trainings and develop their own skills at internal trainings.
In order to provide quality assuarance and control the content of the educational textbooks in each subject are supervised by a methodologist. Methodologists assist both authors and editors in their work on educational textbooks in terms of relevance of the content, authenticity from the point of view of methodology and pedagogy.
